Article I – Membership Eligibility & Exclusivity
Only one (1) member per designated geographic area, ZIP code, and/or county is permitted. The Leadership Team has final
authority over classification conflicts. Members must be full-time licensed real estate agents.
Article II – Membership Standards
Members are expected to act professionally, ethically, and in alignment with the mission and values of BANG. The Leadership Team may place members on probation or terminate membership at its discretion.
Article III – Attendance Requirements
3.01 Attendance Standard
Attendance is essential to the success of the organization. Meetings are ninety (90) minutes and members must arrive on time and remain for the full meeting.
3.02 Permitted Absences
Each member is permitted two (2) absences per six-month cycle (January–June and July–December).
3.03 Excessive Absences
Upon a third absence within a six-month cycle, the member’s classification may be opened at the sole discretion of the Leadership Team or Membership Committee.
3.04 Dues Status
Members in good standing with respect to dues remain subject to all attendance and participation requirements.
Article IV – Referrals & Client First Standard
Members must place the client’s best interest first. When a BANG member is an appropriate fit, they should be considered first for referrals. BANG does not guarantee referrals.
Article V – Visitors
Visitors may attend one (1) monthly meeting prior to joining. Members must report classification conflicts prior to approval or consent will be assumed.
Article VI – Complaints & Accountability
Complaints must be submitted using the official complaint form to an Ambassador. The Ethics and Accountability Officer will review and escalate to the Board of Directors as appropriate.
Article VII – Classification Changes
Members requesting a change in geographic classification must submit a Change of Area request and receive approval before changes take effect.
Article VIII – Conflicts & Discipline
Failure to comply with BANG policies may result in probation or termination. Membership classifications may be opened for non-compliance.
Article IX – Competing Organizations
Members may not participate in other real estate groups whose primary purpose is referral exchange. The Membership Committee has sole authority in this area.
Article X – Dues & Fees
Application fees and membership dues are non-refundable. Termination or removal does not entitle members to refunds or prorated amounts.
Article XI – Affinity Groups
Membership or removal from BANG directly affects affinity group participation. No refunds apply to affinity group fees.
Article XII – Policy Changes
Policies are subject to change. Leadership and Membership Committees retain authority over enforcement and interpretation.
Article XIII – One-to-One Conversations
13.01 Participation Expectation
Members are expected to actively participate in one-to-one conversations as a core component of relationship building and referral readiness.
13.02 Non-Response to One-to-One Requests
Failure to respond to multiple documented one-to-one requests from other members may result in a complaint being filed with the Leadership Team or Membership Committee.
Article XIV – Recruiting New Members
Ambassadors are responsible for ensuring applicants are fully aware of Membership Rules prior to application submission. Applicants are encouraged to attend a meeting prior to applying.
